We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Watkinsville, GA location in the role of Medical Equipment Delivery Driver - DME.
Candidate will be supporting the sales reps in TN, SC, FL, GA.
Travel to these areas will be required usually only day trips - sometimes over-night trips are required if travel is too long.
Qualified candidates will have excellent oral and written communication skills, must be detail oriented with the ability to multitask and be comfortable in a Long Term Care environment (nursing Homes), possess a High School diploma or GED, must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record, and pass a background check.
Responsibilities include:
traveling to skilled nursing facilities in a company vehicle (full size van) to deliver/pickup equipment (full size wheelchairs and lifts), educating the patient on the use of the equipment, cleaning and inspecting equipment, maintaining storage unit space.
You will be servicing and maintaining wheelchairs at the main office.
You will also meet with sales reps in the field to exchange product.
We can set standard hours to work like M,W,F or T,TH for a work schedule.
If candidate is more flexable then maybe more hours could be arranged.
2-3 days per week - about 20 hours per week.
In addition, the candidate must be able to move equipment, mainly large non collapsible wheelchairs, in and out of a van.
The pay range for this role is $12-15/hr and will be part-time.
A company credit card is issued for fuel and any travel expenses.
