Responsibilities:
- Perform clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and organizing financial records - Assist with account reconciliation and preparation of financial statements - Process and record daily, weekly and monthly transactions accurately - Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts - Assist Controller and CFO with financial projects as needed - Utilize accounting software, such as Quickbooks Online, to input and retrieve financial data - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures - Collaborate with team members to support overall accounting functions
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role - Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping principles and practices - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping - Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications (especially Excel) - Familiarity with technical accounting concepts and terminology - Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Note:
